More Than an Emotion
God… You are Love.
You are excited to see me
Overjoyed to hold me
Enthusiastic to know me.
You are crushed when I make bad choices
Hurt when I hurt myself with what I choose
Devastated when I say I hate you and all you’ve done for me.
Because you love me.
Love is more than an emotion.
You are the very being of love.
There’s no way to describe it
No idea to grasp
Except knowing you are love.
And you love me.
So how?
How do I respond to a love so great?
A God so…
So beautiful?
